This economy presents a lot of challenges, no matter what size a business is or what they may make or sell. Too many companies are struggling to stay afloat long enough to get through this economic storm. Here are six companies that survived the recession, and a few are very surprising:
- Amazon.com – People will buy online if the price is right.
- Ford – A big surprise to me. Well, so much for the demise of the American automobile manufacturer.
- Domino's – Better taste and revamped advertising approach proves that American’s still want their pizza delivered.
- Snuggie – A total surprise on this list. Such a gimmick and cheesy item, yet it proves why Americans loved Michael Bolton, too.
- Intel – I just got a great deal on a new computer, so this is not surprise.
- Lego – David Beckham announces that in his spare time he is building a Lego Taj Mahal. And what happens? Sales soar 663%. The celebrity endorsement isn’t dead yet!
