The author talks about how platinum is much more per ounce than gold, but the reality is that platinum and gold are currently fairly close in price (as of October 8, 2010). The listed market values for each are way off as well (Platinum is selling for about $865 per ounce, while gold is selling for about $300 per ounce). And while the posted information has a copyright of 2008, you have to figure that any Internet entrepreneur trying to sell platinum wedding rings would want to keep their information updated and useful.
