Platinum is the premium metal for wedding rings and jewelry in general. And now there’s a competition for new jewelry designers that are interested in dipping their toes in platinum waters. Winners with receive an ounce of platinum to create their designs with, and there are up to $30,000 worth of additional prizes as well.

Targeted at emerging designers who are looking to begin building their portfolio in platinum, the aims of the award are to help sustain the design and manufacture of platinum jewelry in America.
