I blog about the benefits of platinum and palladium quite a bit, but there’s also another white metal that is bright and wears well over time. Argentium Silver is a good choice for a naturally white affordable precious metal. With the economy still being quite a challenge for many individuals, affordability is important, so Argentium Silver is a logical choice for a wedding ring or jewelry if price is an issue. And unlike tungsten or titanium, a ring made with Argentium Silver can be resized! That’s right – most alternative metals can not be easily sized. So unless you intend to stay exactly the same weight for the rest of your life, sizing can be a real issue down the road.
Here’s a video which illustrates the beauty of Argentium Silver. The benefits of Argentium Silver are clearly explained. Test results for the metal are shown and a wide variety of Argentium items are showcased. It really is a good starting point if you are interested in Argentium Silver.

I am BIG fan of Overstock.com, but I disagree with their direction for new jewelry made from Platifina. Platifina? C’mon! And they're not alone.
Why would any reputable organization market jewelry with a name similar to something that is already established in the marketplace? Platifina sounds too much like a platinum derivative, and yet is not created with any actual platinum. It’s rhodium-plated sterling silver, and while rhodium is in the Platinum Group Metal family, it’s still way too confusing. When I hear the term “Platifina,” I picture a product made with platinum, and not just coated with rhodium. Here’s the actual definition on Overstock.com for Platifina:
Inspired by the recent rise in popularity of precious metals, Platifina creates a new collection of pure rhodium-plated sterling silver jewelry. Pure rhodium plating, the most precious platinum metal, is combined with sterling silver to create durable jewelry that is tarnish- and scratch-resistant. Platifina jewelry possesses a rich white metal luster, making it a brilliant new alternative to platinum, white gold and silver jewelry.
Wait a sec! Platifina is listed in their Guide to Alternative Metals, yet sterling silver is a precious metal?
And Platifina is noted as being as tarnish- and scratch-resistant? Again – really? My experience with rhodium plating is that it wears off through every day wear-and-tear. I am not 100% sure how this product can indeed be declared to be tarnish- and scratch-resistant. If a representative from Overtock.com wants to contact me, then I can be reached via e-mail at theweddingringblog{at}gmail.com. I’ll be happy to print anything clarification that they with to send me. Because looking at this product has me all confused! And if I am – and I have twelve years experience in jewelry manufacturing – then I can only imagine what someone with much less experience might think!

And when I say “crazy,” it’s not in a good way.
According to Canada’s Jeweller Magazine, online jewelry retailer Diva has added a line of Playboy-branded accessories. However, parents have expressed concerns that Diva's target audience for the Playboy line of teens and even pre-teens is out-of-line. So, of course, Diva’s Facebook page was elected as the forum that parents with objections chose to vent their frustrations and concerns. And their so-called critics did as well. Complaints about the Playboy accessories line have ranged from minor disappointment to some claiming that Diva is purposely promoting a brand that supports explicit, violent and degrading pornography to tween and teenage girls.
Excuse me? VIOLENT? While I understand that many Americans and Canadiens may not like what Playboy stands for, the last thing you can call Playboy is “violent.” That being said, Playboy's presence should probably not be on a Facebook page of website aimed at teenagers or an audience of even younger.
While searching for the Diva website and Facebook page, I also came across a lot more questionable content that conservative Mom’s and Dad’s might want their teens and pre-teens shielded from and not able to view. A general search for the term “Diva” turns up a lot more than an accessories website. In fact, one of the search results is for a lesbian website/publication (DIVA Magazine - Lesbian magazine DIVA's official FB presence). So if you are uptight about the Playboy brand, the possibility of your female child being exposed to same-sex romantic content must make your head explode.
Protest comments on the Diva Facebook page also required some moderation. The following been reported in Jeweller Magazine’s follow-up article (PLAYBOY JEWELLERY STOUSH SWAMPS DIVA):
Representatives of Diva began moderating the social media forum by removing expletive-riddled comments, although previously the company appeared to have been letting plenty get past the post.
“We are not ok with personal attacks or anti-social behaviour, so we will be deleting any posts that are considered this,” wrote the company in regards to a moderated post. “Feel free to post a cleaner version as we are happy for you to have your say.”
I fully support freedom of speech and expression, even if I disagree with an issue being debated; in other words, I may not agree with what’s being said, but you have a right to say it, as long as it’s not “FIRE! FIRE!” in a crowded theater. Yet using profanity in your protest comments whether you are for or against the Playboy jewelry seems a bit drastic. Sure, protect your children or express your thoughts, but take The High Road and set an example. A boycott is one thing, commenting on it is another, but telling either an individual or an organization to “f-off” in a non-descript manner with your Facebook account attached to it might not be the best tactic either way. Especially if Diva has indeed been targeting a younger demographic for other jewelry lines such as Winnie the Pooh charm bracelets and Disney Princess Pendants. A bad business decision should be addressed in a rational manner - whether you are with it or not.

Star Magazine’s website gives palladium and the new advertising campaign by Palladium Alliance a rave review. However, I understand what they are trying to say by calling Luxury Palladium a new metal, but the truth is that it’s a new branding campaign now that palladium’s price has returned to a higher level.
Palladium is NOT a new metal, nor is it an alternative metal. My company started manufacturing with palladium more in 2005, and now it’s one of our options for nearly all of our wedding ring designs. I’m a big PLATINUM guy, but palladium is a good choice as an affordable white metal if platinum and gold are just too high for your budget.
Here’s part of what is featured:
Luxury Palladium is an incredible new metal that looks like platinum, but is lightweight, durable, and super-affordable! Palladium is rarer than gold and its color won’t tarnish over time, perfect for a woman on a budget! It is silvery white in color and gorgeous gals like Kelly Osbourne, Rose McGowan, and Pam Anderson are fans, say reps!

Recently Lotus Jewelry Designs began to follow me on Twitter, so I decided to check them out. And I am glad that I did.
Lotus Jewelry Designs prides itself on creating unique handcrafted jewelry for the everyday Goddess. This featured necklace really caught my eye with its beautiful, vibrant shades of purple and blue bicone-shaped beads. Let’s face it – it’s absolutely stunning and affordable. This necklace is long enough to be doubled up, worn as a multi-strand bracelet, anklet, used as a hair band, or just around draped around your neck as a fun piece of jewelry. Just because an idea is not brand new doesn’t mean that it’s not a great idea! A few years ago, American wedding ring manufacturer Wright & Lato introduced its PGM Collection of wedding rings. PGM Collection rings offer the best of two naturally white metals; they fuse a palladium base with a platinum inlay or decoration, so they’re really palladium and platinum combination designs. I was a big fan back then, and I am a big fan still today!
Here are some of the PGM Collection wedding ring details:
■ All wedding rings in the PGM Collection are hand crafted from earth's great white precious metals - platinum, palladium and ruthenium.
■ Each PGM Collection wedding ring is hypo-allergenic.
■ Platinum and palladium are naturally white, so rhodium plating is not necessary.
■ The rarity and pureness of platinum, when combined with the durability of palladium, unite to forge the strongest statement.

Since I work in the jewelry industry, I get to see plenty of watches. In fact, I’ve just returned from a New York City trade show, and nearly every buyer and executive had a watch on of some kind. What I like to do is keep an eye out for something that is unique, unusual or just plain stunning. I saw a HUGE ceramic watch with big diamonds. I also saw some colorful yet simple ones as well. And then one particular style jumped into my mind - the Stauer Machina Skeleton Watch.
Influenced by a design dating back to 1760 Paris, the Stauer Machina Skeleton Watch is one of Stauer’s most interesting designs. According to legend, a Paris watchmaker wanted more attention for his small workshop, so he removed the face and plates to reveal the inner workings of his creations. In other words, that watchmaker stripped down the bells and whistles so that all that is left is the watch basics; you can witness the mechanisms at work. Parisian citizens had never seen a watch like this before, and apparently flocked to his door with fascination. Voila – the skeleton watch was born!
Right now, the Stauer Machina Skeleton Watch is available for just $196.00 through their watch website. Since this watch design normally retails for $395.00 – that’s a pretty hefty discount. So visit www.stauer.com to learn more about the artistry behind this machine. As David Cassidy might have said in the 70’s – it’s groovy!
You can LIKE Stauer watches and jewelry on Facebook. You can also get a $20.00 instant coupon just for subscribing to their e-mail newsletter.

So, it’s true. One of my company’s wedding ring designs will be featured on an upcoming reality show for a major cable channel! I literally hustled almost two hours out to the metal supplier to pick up two “parts” that needed to be made into a size 12.5 ring. Now that’s a BIG finger! The picture below illustrates how the two parts fit together – there’s an inner sleeve created from Argentium Sterling Silver and an outer gold cover. It’s made this way to help keep the retail costs down for those that need an affordable wedding ring but still want a design created from precious metals.
So you might be asking – why precious metals? Rings made from alternative metals such as tungsten, titanium and ceramic can NOT be sized down the road. This is particular wedding ring style gives the consumer a choice that won’t break their piggy band, but will still allow some growth or weight loss.
My initial goal was to follow the wedding ring through the factory, but time constraints were getting in the way. From the time the metal arrived, it was just a few hours later until the ring had to be finished. Here’s the final design:

What times is it? Well, it’s RumbaTime! Not since my original Swatch (from 1985 – no less!) have I found a watch that is this fun and affordable.
RumbaTime watches are designed to be comfortable, water-resistant and durable, which is important if you are looking for a watch that you can show off while on the go, yet not have to worry about its wear and tear. RumbaTime watches can be worn one at a time or in a stacked fashion. I also like the variety of bright colors; usually watches that I am drawn to are available in black, brown or metallic colors. Weighing only 25 grams, RumbaTime’s Greenwich watches (pictured above – retailing for around $35) are very lightweight and possess analog movement. Fashion can really be affordable!
Are you looking to brighten your mood? Or need some serenity after a long day. Each available shade has an associated color therapy attribute as well:
* Yellow = uplifting
* Red = excitement
* Blue = tranquility
* Green = restorative
* Black = protective
* White = cleansing
* Pink = affection
So say “good-bye” to that boring conservative watch around your wrist (at least for the time being), and say “hello” to RumbaTime!
Visit the RumbaTime watch website to see all of their available collections - some of which start at $25 or less. You can also LIKE RumbaTime on Facebook.

Want to make a million dollars in the jewelry industry? All you have to do is create one very special variation to a very popular metal for wedding rings, which is tungsten. To make a million dollars, just create a reworking of tungsten that can be sized. Heck – you’ll probably make much more than a million dollars.
Tungsten wedding rings look great and feel nice to the touch. Tungsten wedding rings are popular in both retailer jewelry stores and online. Their prices range from under $50.00 to a few hundred, but a savvy wedding ring shopper can find a good deal with a little research. The only knock on tungsten is that it can not be sized, and you can actually shatter a tungsten wedding ring if you hit it just right. The male ego does not allow us to take into consideration that we may gain some weight down the road; we’ll retain our athletic build forever! And for the sentimental guy that wants to wear the same wedding ring that he got married in for the rest of his life, this could be an issue. My father is heavier than he was when he got married in the 50s (sorry, Dad), but he has never taken his gold wedding ring off his finger, and I don’t think he plans to anyway.
So I challenge a physicist, engineer, chemist or scientist of any field to come up with a material that can still be called tungsten yet be sized and resized. If you do, you are well on your way towards making a million dollars!

There are two phrases that make a savvy fashion jewelry buyer very happy – “sample sale” and “cheap jewelry.” And by “cheap,” I don’t mean jewelry that is poorly made or of lesser quality. If you are looking to freshen up your fun summer fashion jewelry collection, but still keep enough money in your pocket for some margaritas, then head over to Manic Trout for their jewelry sample sale. Prices for earrings on sale start at just $7.50, and there are some really fun rings for under $20.00. How can you say “no” to that? But once the jewelry sample sale is over – it’s over. So hurry over to Manic Trout today!
If you find yourself wandering this weekend in the Millbrook, New York area, then remember to stop by the Manic Trout jewelry trunk show at Tamarack Preserve. Here’s the basic information:

ManicTrout.com features affordable handmade costume jewelry ranging in price from as little as $15 to as high as $240. This nice price assortment ensures that there is a little something for everyone, yet won’t put a crimp in your bank account. You can look like a million bucks without spending a thousand!
Keeping an eye on this summer’s demand for simpler yet still elegant designs, items such as chains with colorful vintage looking charms have been getting a lot of attention. Here’s a great example – the Sweetest Thing necklace (named after the Lauryn Hill song of the same name). The Sweetest Thing is full of vintage goodness and flair. You can wear it by itself, layer it with other chains or necklaces, or even add additional flowers for a more vibrant look. And if you are looking for matching earrings, Sweetest Thing earrings are available as well. Both items cost less than $40.00 each. A pretty pink vintage Lucite flower on a basic chain and dangling from your ears seem like the perfect jewelry items for summer.
Now this collection name cracks me up - Zsa Zsa Bling Rings! Zsa Zsa Bling Rings are big and bold cocktail rings that go with your favorite jeans or that slinky cocktail dress you plan to wear to Happy Hour. Here’s a fantastic design known as the Antoinette ring made with gold wrapped wire and a chandelier crystal. Zsa Zsa Bling Rings are named for women known for the vast jewelry collections as well as their overall style. This ring is named after Queen of France Marie Antoinette (of "let them eat cake" fame), retails for under $40, and will be made in your exact size.
So you see – looking like the bee’s knees, cat’s meow or whatever you call appearing like a fashionista can be colorful as well as affordable. Check out ManicTrout.com today! You can also LIKE the Manic Trout Facebook page.

InStoreMag.com, the official website for leading jewelry trade publication In Store, featured Novell’s Great American Metal Exchange (GAME) in their Industry Announcements section.
“Novell Design Studio’s Great American Metal Exchange (GAME) program allows qualified jewelry stores to trade in unusable precious metals for Novell’s new Studio Platinum bridal-classics collection. It's a weight exchange with a minimal program fee. Acceptable precious metals for this special opportunity are platinum, gold, and palladium. Is there a better way and time to profit from your under-performing, broken, and damaged merchandise? The GAME is a meticulously planned and executed bridal jewelry stimulus package. It meets the challenges of the hard economy head on!”
By now you may be asking – why is Novell’s Great American Metal Exchange so important? First of all, it allows jewelry stores to rid their showcases of unwanted merchandise that’s created from platinum, palladium or gold, and exchange all of it for Novell’s new platinum bridal jewelry collection. Secondly, for those consumers who want to see platinum engagement rings first hand (as opposed to strictly from Internet pictures like on BlueNile.com), there will now be a database of stores that will carry a line of affordable (and popular) platinum styles. When the price of platinum rose a few years back, many stores stopped investing in platinum, while consumer demand still existed. Novell’s GAME is a BIG WIN for retailers and consumers alike.

It’s fun to see what’s new and best selling for the jewelry industry at large, especially in such a tough economy. One designer that has caught my eye (and doesn’t want to take my wallet hostage) is Lisa Leonard. Lisa first started making jewelry during her high school years, but didn’t get really into it until after her first son was born. She wanted to start a small business that would enable her to avoid the grind of 9-to-5 and be a stay home mother. So Lisa began creating affordable sterling silver jewelry that can be customized with a hand-stamped name, meaningful phrase or special verse. Each little “work of art” is hand-cut, hammered, polished, drilled and assembled with care. In this day and age, finding affordable jewelry that’s not imported from India or China can be tough!
Wearing jewelry made by Lisa Leonard is like adorning a handwritten love note on your wrist or around your neck. There are a variety of designs available - including links, discs, banners, charms, thin cuffs and more. One of my favorites is the My Treasure necklace, and also the Captured Heart necklace that has been seen around the neck of actress Josie Bissett. If you’ll soon be tying the knot, Lisa Leonard Designs also offers a boatload of ideas for your wedding day keepsakes. Check out these stainless steel forks that can be hand-stamped with each other’s name.
Lisa Leonard Designs exists because moms, grandmas, gal pals and friends have shared her story and meaning behind their thoughtful messages with each other while waiting in line at the grocery store or simply having coffee with a friend. Customers find her through word of mouth, and there are nearly 3,500 fans on Facebook. Feel free to visit her blog to read more of her awesome story. You are encouraged to share yours as well!
Note: Please allow 1-2 weeks for the creation of your custom, handmade jewelry.

Jewelry is sometimes thought of as just being a luxury item, but don’t forget that the gift of jewelry often has sentimental meaning as well. Bridal jewelry represents love and commitment, and fashion jewelry also can have those deep symbolic feelings associated with it. One Meaning jewelry is an amazing collection of jewelry designed with a unique butterfly theme that’s been created from the numbers 8, 1 and 3. Designers Ingrid and Karen formed these numbers into the butterfly shape so that love can take flight, and it lands on a different charitable cause each month. “813” means “I love you,” a phrase that has 8 letters, 3 words, 1 meaning. The 1 is in the middle because love is the center of everything.
To date, One Meaning has donated over $25,000 to their chosen causes, and their global message of love has affected over a dozen individuals so profoundly that they’ve tattooed the butterfly logo permanently on their body. In fact, you can see these tattoos in the featured online Look Book. And although the message of love expressed with every One Meaning jewelry design is global and everlasting, their styles are made in the USA.

In a tough or challenging economy, many jewelry stores from coast-to-coast often face the following questions – what can jewelry retailer do with old jewelry that’s not selling or earning interest because it’s out of style? And how can a jeweler actually increase their inventory with top merchandise without spending a lot of money?
Popular online jewelry authority The Jewelry Weblog recently featured American wedding band manufacturer Novell’s new initiative that is designed to help to put MORE affordable platinum bridal jewelry into jewelry store showcases – The Great American Metal Exchange (GAME). The idea behind Novell’s GAME is pretty straightforward; jewelry stores can exchange precious metals from merchandise that is not selling, broken or just sitting around for a platinum engagement ring collection that has a nice retail value (but is designed to be affordable and fast selling). If it’s made in gold, palladium or platinum, then it can be included in this innovative metal exchange program, although diamonds will have to be removed from all jewelry before being sent in to Novell. All in all, Novell’s GAME sounds too good to be true, but it’s not. However, it is only for a limited time, so jewelry retailers should act now.

Wedding blog and website Your Engagement 101 recently wrote about all the latest jewelry trends that they came across at this year’s JCK Show in Las Vegas. They also refer to this event as Jewelry Fashion Week, which is much catchier and accurately describes this industry-only event. But if you couldn’t find the time to keep up with everything that was going on in real time, here’s a nice summary of the best jewelry trends to come out of the show this year.
If you have been looking for a wedding ring that is out of the ordinary, then here’s TATU ring by Novell. TATU rings were initially created in only stainless steel, and they are inspired by actual tattoo and tribal designs that can be seen from coast-to-coast. Now many styles in the TATU ring collection can be created in Argentium Sterling Silver, palladium and more. Argentium Sterling Silver is a step above regular sterling silver – it can be easily cleaned and does not tarnish as easily. And palladium is a more affordable choice than white gold if platinum is not an option. But keep in mind that platinum is the premium metal for all jewelry, and many of the TATU rings can be specially created for you in platinum. Platinum is also worth the investment.

And ask a Novell wedding band retailer in your area for more information about TATU rings.

During almost any given month, there may be approximately 30,000 future brides and grooms-to-be using Google* to search for the term “solitaire engagement rings” on a worldwide level. Solitaire engagement rings have a classic appearance that will never go out of style; you’ll never have to worry if your purchase will ever look dated. And since the Internet is really a vast universe of information (and often too vast), it’s sometimes hard to find a reputable online retailer that has the varied selection that you may be searching for.
ItsHot.com has over twenty years experience with manufacturing and wholesale of solitaire engagement rings, other high-quality fine diamond jewelry and diamond watch designs. They have quite a large selection of bridal jewelry created with round diamonds or princess cut diamonds invisibly set in white gold**, yellow gold**, pink gold** (a.k.a. rose gold or red gold) and platinum. What I like about ItsHot.com is the variety of price ranges that is offered as well; I was able to find solitaire engagement rings that are very affordable (less than $700.00) and styles that are priced over $15,000. No matter what your price range, chances are that ItsHot.com will have that very special solitaire engagement ring that you have in mind! They can also customize any engagement ring featured on their website, so should you desire a ring with different quality diamonds, or even if you are not able to find that certain design that you’ve been searching for, all you have to do is contact ItsHot.com directly. This fantastic retailer will custom make the style that’s pictured in your mind just for you.
And for shoppers in the New York City area, ItsHot.com has a retail location, so feel free to stop by to see their awesome selection first-hand.

You may have noticed that I write about platinum. A lot. But even though I truly believe in and have personally had enough experience with the metal to stand firmly behind my platinum endorsement, I also understand that the jewelry industry has to have levels of choice. So if you have ruled out platinum and are leaning towards white gold (which is not a naturally white metal), then you may want to investigate palladium.
Palladium is a metal that is between the proverbial “rock and a hard place.” It’s affordable, but not many retailers keep a selection of palladium wedding rings in their stock. However, thanks to Palladium Alliance International, palladium is poised to make a comeback.

Jewelry Dose Daily, one of the better jewelry blogs that reports on all of the latest jewelry news and trends, recently featured a progressive initiative that is designed to place more affordable platinum styles in better retail jewelry stores – Novell’s Great American Metal Exchange.
“If you're a fine retail jeweler, you'll want to check out the new program that seemingly everyone in the jewelry industry is talking about. Novell Design Studio recently announced the creation of their Great American Metal Exchange (GAME) program which allows qualified jewelry stores to trade in unusable precious metals for Novell’s new Studio Platinum bridal-classics collection.”

Engagements and weddings are times for great celebration and happiness. Future brides-to-be are all aglow about their special day, and the men seem to enjoy the attention as well. But what if it all goes wrong? What if unfortunately the engagement is called off? What happens to the engagement ring, or if it’s a last minute change of plans, then what happens to the wedding bands as well?
Online jewelry retailer I Do Now I Don’t is unlike any online jewelry site on the Internet. I Do Now I Don’t pairs buyers and sellers together so that both parties potentially end up with a great price for their jewelry and other collectables. The website offers a great way to unload their leftover “assets” from a failed relationship or a diamond ring they have not worn in years. Listings at I Do Now I Don’t have increased quite a bit, so that’s great news for those looking to save a bundle on bridal jewelry. Out of the ashes of a failed relationship comes happiness for a couple that will make it to the next level of companionship. Brides and grooms are finding previously-owned engagement rings and wedding bands at substantial discounts. And as I like to always say - during this tough economic recession, all most ALL consumers are looking for ways to be smarter about everything they buy, whether they are getting married or not!
Visit I Do Now I Don’t and browse their engagement rings and wedding bands.

Yes, my friends – the economy is still a little bit on the difficult side, and precious metal prices for jewelry have been on the rise (or at least fluctuating) for some time now. But many people are still looking to buy new jewelry, although their purchases might be a little more on the affordable side these days. People seem to be buying more silver than gold when it comes to fashion items. And for one designer, earrings have remained constant.
“Our best sellers in a challenging economy are earrings,” says designer Melissa Doan of Melissa Doan Fine Sterling Silver. “Over the last 3 years, we've found that women rarely treat themselves to necklaces anymore but will often choose to treat themselves to earrings, sometimes two or three pairs at a time.”
Melissa’s comments are not surprising at all. But what about rings? Men and women are still getting engaged and married – right? Married people still need their wedding rings!
Melissa comments: “Another staple for us are our silver rings. We've actually received many requests over the years to specially size our rings (or to) slightly adjust them to be used as wedding bands and wedding rings. We find that women in these challenging times are sometimes more interested in the story behind the ring (it being made by an artisan or being an heirloom or replica of famous ring, for example) rather than the ‘blingy’ price or materials. This shift has probably occurred for obvious reasons - lower budgets, greater appreciation for the basics, etc.”
You can see some of Melissa’s great silver jewelry designs on her Facebook page. Her website (www.melissadoan.com) is currently under reconstruction, but you can add it to your favorites.

Hopefully this isn’t a case of “he said/she said,” but while searching the Internet for wedding rings, I came across an interesting article on The Consumerist.
Jennifer and her husband bought her diamond wedding ring set from Kay’s Jewelers back in 2006, and an accompanying anniversary band about a year later. Part of their purchase involved an extended warranty, which at first glance seems like a good idea. After all, all jewelry will show signs of wear and tear over time.
After some time, one of her rings needed a repair. Apparently a diamond was damaged, and Jennifer suspects that it happened during a routine cleaning. The ring was shipped to the appropriate vendor in China, and after some time it looks as if it is lost. Part of the warranty states that she can indeed be refunded what she paid for the ring, but instead wants what the ring was appraised for, which is a few hundred dollars more.
So – how could all this have been avoided?
In my humble opinion, it’s often best to make your jewelry purchases from an established retail jewelry store, or even from an online store that has a solid history of good reviews. A mall chain store may seem to have some great jewelry deals, but a lot of the time these same stores do rely on imported goods that can be somewhat inferior in quality. Jewelry will require maintenance, and small diamonds can indeed break. Even big diamonds may break during the setting process, and this is a reality in jewelry manufacturing. Often, it’s best to pay a little more for American made jewelry because it’s true – in the jewelry business, many times you get what you pay for. A great “deal” may not be a great deal after all.
