Contributors

The Wedding Ring Blog is primarily written and edited by the site’s Editorial Team. We also welcome clearly identified contributions, technical comments and real-wedding submissions from people with relevant first-hand or professional experience.

Who can contribute?

Potential contributors include jewellers, designers, assay and jewellery specialists, photographers, planners, venues, celebrants, florists, tailors and other professionals whose expertise can genuinely improve a guide or feature.

What we want from expert input

We are interested in specific, attributable knowledge: a practical point, a technical clarification, a useful example or a perspective grounded in real work. We are not looking for generic promotional copy.

How contributions are credited

If a named contributor materially informs an article, their contribution should be identified in the article. Product or business links are included where they help readers understand who the contributor is, not as payment for the contribution.

Commercial relationships

Paid placement, affiliate activity and editorial contribution are not the same thing. Commercial relationships are disclosed where relevant and do not automatically qualify a business for editorial inclusion.
