Zoë Kravitz’s 2026 Engagement Ring and the Return of the Cushion Cut

Vogue reported in April 2026 that Zoë Kravitz and Harry Styles were engaged, after Kravitz had been seen wearing a diamond ring in London. The designer was not confirmed in Vogue’s report, which is exactly why it is more useful to focus on the visible design language rather than inventing specifications.

What is a cushion cut?

A cushion cut combines a broadly square or rectangular outline with softened corners. Some are compact and pillow-like; others are elongated. Faceting patterns vary too, which means two diamonds both sold as “cushion cut” can have noticeably different character.

The setting matters as much as the outline

If you are buying an engagement ring with a wedding band in mind, look at the side profile as well as the top view. Low baskets and projecting settings can prevent a straight wedding ring from sitting flush.
